Black Taxi Tour London ‘Exclusive Shopping Club’

We are a group of licensed London Taxi Drivers who are also qualified Tour Guides.
In the current environment we have seen 100% cancellation for tours booked with us.
We are a professional, reputable and reliable company that usually has a full order book, therefore we need to find a way to secure a living for our Driver Guides whilst travel and tourism stands still.
We are currently offering you the concept of an ‘Exclusive Shopping Club’ from local shops and supermarkets. ‘Exclusive’ being that we can deliver on the day (we understand that the regular home delivery services are in high demand and under extreme pressure).
Treat this as your private concierge shopping service. There is no minimal order value. There is no need to stockpile. We can deliver as per your requirements throughout the day. We aim to have Drivers and Shoppers available for your convenience during store opening hours.

How does this work?

Membership is priced at £100 per week.  This price covers shopping and delivery which is available every day, 7 days a week (during store opening hours – Monday to Saturday 07:30-21:00 and Sunday 11:00-17:00).
*Please note this is a start up fee, we hope to be able to reduce this cost if we receive enough interest. This is not a profit making opportunity, we just need to be able to cover the running costs of our Drivers for this initiative to proceed.
Membership is paid in advance weekly.
Membership can be cancelled at any time.

Payment of Shopping:
A payment to cover the total cost of your weekly shopping bill is to be paid in advance via electronic transfer (We do not have the funds to cover any shopping costs). Your shopping total will be deducted from this balance.  A receipt will be provided at time of delivery, and an updated balance sent via email (within 3 hours) after each shop and delivery is completed.
At the end of your membership, any balance left on your account will be refunded in full.

Sending, processing and delivering your order:

  1. Email our Administration Team with your shopping order and preferred delivery date and time.
  2. Your order will be forwarded to our team of available shoppers.
  3. Your assigned Shopper will pick up, pay and pack your goods (if branded or specified items are unavailable they will be substituted with an alternative. Please advise on shopping order if you do not want an alternative).
  4. Your shopping will be delivered to your front door by a licensed London Taxi. (For health and safety measures, the Taxi Driver will not enter and deliver past the front door of your home).   Your Taxi Driver will contact you by telephone on their arrival in order for you to accept delivery.

This is a new concept for our business.  We therefore appreciate your co-operation in these unfamiliar and extraordinary times.
In order to ensure a professional, personal, prompt and reliable service, this is an exclusive offer to a limited number of customers.

Health & Safety:
All of our Shoppers and Drivers regularly wash and sanitise their hands, before and after each shop and delivery.
All of our taxis will be for the exclusive use of delivering your shopping.  They will not be in use for the general public.
All taxis are sanitised before and after each delivery.
Following Government guidelines, on delivery our Drivers will observe the two meter social distancing.  Shopping will not be left unattended and will need to be received for on delivery.

We aim to have this service up and running as soon as possible.
