This is one of the most recognisable locations from the series. You’ll be able to picture DCI Barnaby strolling down many of the streets, as much of this market town forms the fictional Causton.

This pretty village featured in Beyond the Grave and is set in the stunning Chiltern Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Stonor

See the red fallow deer roaming in Stonor Park, and enjoy the beautiful scenery as seen in Blue Herrings, A Worm in the Bud, Death and Dreams, Electric Vendetta, Bad Tidings, and Death and the Divas.

Chinnor

The station here appears as Holm Lane Junction in Death in a Chocolate Box, and features several other times as well. The tailors in The Made to Measure Murders is a shop in this very village.

Henley-on-Thames

This is a popular location in Oxford, known for its famous regatta. It also happens to feature in Dead in the Water, where the rowing club chairman is murdered.

We’ll pass by many quintessentially British pubs en route (you may even have spotted some of them on screen!) and will stop off at one for lunch.
